New camera

I finally made the leap to DSLR from point and shoot. I did some research on entry level DSLRs and settled on the Nikon D40. This recommendation pretty much sold me. I’ve been happy with it so far. Picked up a package deal from amazon. I’m learning a lot. I’ve been eyeing the canon powershot g9 for my pocket camera upgrade. I’m using aperture 2, and I like it so far. There are a few things I wish it did better (like easily copying all effect settings from one image to another), but i’m hoping they will fix some of those issues in a future update. I’ve taken tons of photos so far, but haven’t posted any (i’m bad about that). I’m going to try to dump some on flickr tonight.
